چکیده
Abstract Dynamic voltage and frequency scaling (DVFS) is a promising broadly used energy-efficient technique to overcome the main problems arising from using finite energy reservoir capacity uncertain source in real-time embedded systems. This work investigates an management scheme for task scheduling variable processors located sensor nodes powered by ambient sources. We use DVFS decrease consumption of sensors at time when sources are limited. In particular, we develop prove optimal framework with speed stretching, namely guarantee (EG-DVFS), that jointly accounts not only timing constraints, but also state incurred properties system components. EG-DVFS relies on well-known earliest deadline-harvesting algorithm combined where processing fine tuned further minimize achieve autonomy system. Further, exact feasibility test set periodic, aperiodic or even sporadic tasks presented.

An Optimal Multiprocessor Real-Time Scheduling Algorithm
An optimal scheduling algorithm is described that feasibly schedules a set of m periodic tasks on n processors before their respective deadlines, if the task set satisses certain conditions. The complexity of this scheduling algorithm in terms of the number of scheduled tasks and the number of processors and upper bounds on the number of preemptions in a given time interval and for any single t...

Energy efficiency is considered as a critical requirement for wireless sensor networks. As more wireless sensor nodes are equipped with multi-cores, there are emerging needs for energy-efficient real-time scheduling algorithms. The T-L plane-based scheme is known to be an optimal global scheduling technique for periodic real-time tasks on multi-cores. Unfortunately, there has been a scarcity of...

Real-time low-power wireless networks are increasingly being used in applications such as: Industrial Internet-ofThings, Smart City technologies, and critical infrastructure monitoring. These networks typically use time-slotted superframe techniques to ensure real-time performance. Often the time slots are assigned statically, and energy conservation is regulated to other mechanisms such as dut...
متن کاملAn Optimal Scheduling Algorithm for Distributed Heterogeneous Real-Time Systems
We present a branch-and-bound algorithm to optimally schedule a set of communicating parallel real-time tasks, made up of subtasks, in a distributed heterogeneous computer system. The algorithm generates a search tree and for every tree vertex, corresponding to a partial schedule, it calculates a lower bound on the completion time of the subtasks being considered in that vertex. The algorithm t...
